Horizontal carbon bands integrated into Powerskin Carbon-Air² fabric. They restrict stretch at a defined point to provide targeted compression and stability.
The women’s Powerskin Carbon-Air² Open Back racing suit combines knee-length coverage with an open back for racing. A single-piece outer shell and three-panel inner lining reduce the number of seams. Horizontal carbon bands provide targeted compression while allowing the swimmer to move through strokes, turns and starts.
The outer fabric contains 65% polyamide, 34% elastane and 1% carbon fibre. This is a specialist competition suit rather than everyday training swimwear. Put it on carefully, easing the fabric gradually over the legs and hips instead of pulling hard on the straps, to protect the close-fitting technical construction.
