Technical Viper Juan Lebrón 2.5 is an attacking padel racquet for experienced players who look to finish points with pace and precision. The diamond shape and high balance help deliver a penetrating overhead shot, while the 3K carbon face provides direct response on a full swing.

Its layered X-EVA core blends explosive output with greater forgiveness on slower contact. A 3D Spin finish, Holes Pattern System and the reinforced Dynamic Stability bridge contribute spin potential and resistance to twisting. Smart Buttcap makes the wrist strap removable and replaceable.

Technologies

3K Carbon

3K Carbon describes a woven carbon-fibre material used on the hitting face of selected Babolat padel racquets. In its Automobili Lamborghini collaboration, Babolat describes approximately 3,000 carbon filaments per strand. The weave supports a direct, responsive impact when the player accelerates and helps deliver precise ball contact. The final feel also depends on the EVA core, shape and balance, so two racquets using 3K Carbon can still behave very differently.

X-EVA

X-EVA is a three-layer Babolat EVA core designed to respond differently according to impact intensity. Two firmer outer layers support more explosive rebound on accelerated attacking shots, while the more flexible inner layer adds forgiveness and comfort during slower exchanges. This gives the racquet a more dynamic response on a smash and a more yielding feel on a block or controlled volley. The construction is verified on the Viper 2.6 generation.
3D Spin

3D Spin

3D Spin uses raised patterns on the face of a padel racquet. When a player brushes across the ball during a sliced volley or a shaped attacking shot, the relief helps create rotation and manage the flight of the ball. The result still depends on technique, swing path and contact quality. Standard 3D Spin is defined by the raised pattern; unlike 3D Spin+, Babolat does not describe an additional rough finish as part of this particular system.
Holes Pattern System

Holes Pattern System

Holes Pattern System (HPS) adapts the size and arrangement of the holes to the head shape of each padel racquet. The drilling layout is therefore designed to work with the geometry of the specific model rather than following one pattern across the entire range. Babolat associates this approach with improved energy transfer and more precise placement. The Alioth JR and Alioth Pro JR use different drilling arrangements that reflect their respective playing profiles.
Dynamic Stability System

Dynamic Stability System

Dynamic Stability System reinforces the throat of a padel racquet with a central structural bar. Babolat links this design to greater frame stability, better control and more effective energy transfer during forceful impact. It matters in smashes, aggressive volleys and other short, high-load exchanges when the racquet needs to respond predictably at contact. The feature forms part of the offensive character of selected Technical and Juan Lebrón models.
Smart Buttcap

Smart Buttcap

Smart Buttcap is a system at the end of the handle that lets the player adjust the wrist-strap length. The strap is removable, making cleaning or replacement with a compatible strap more convenient. This is a useful everyday feature for players who use their racquet frequently or share one during practice. It makes wrist-strap fit easier to personalise without changing the frame or the hitting face.
