FSI Control
A control-oriented Frame String Interaction system using a denser string pattern with Woofer for longer ball contact and more precise feel.
The Babolat Pure Strike 18/20 Gen4 is made for players who take a full swing and want precise, repeatable ball placement. Its dense 18/20 string pattern gives a firmer sense of directional control, particularly on flatter strikes and when redirecting pace.
A compact 98 sq in head and 305 g unstrung weight make this a racquet for confident intermediate-to-advanced players rather than a beginner looking for effortless depth. The 320 mm balance and slim 21/23/21 mm beam help deliver a stable, connected response.
Control Frame Technology combines different beam profiles for stability and responsiveness. FSI Control and the Woofer system shape the interaction between frame and strings, while NF²-Tech uses flax fibres to soften unwanted vibrations. Supplied unstrung.
Technologies
Control Frame Technology
A hybrid geometry combining the stability of a squarer section with the dynamics of an elliptical frame for a balance of control and responsiveness.
NF²-Tech
Natural flax fibres are placed in strategic areas of the frame to filter unwanted vibrations while preserving clean feedback at impact.
