Babolat Elastocross consists of small string-saving inserts placed where a tennis racquet's main and cross strings intersect. These are areas of repeated rubbing as the string bed moves on impact. Separating the string surfaces at those points reduces friction and can help extend usable string life.

The inserts are made from polypropylene (PP) and can be fitted across the central hitting area or at specific intersections showing wear. They are a string-protection accessory, not a replacement for correct stringing or timely restringing once a string has become damaged. This version is Beige.
